History of the Outreach

In 1994 Keat, Sally and their two sons Kevin and Mark moved back to Cambodia to begin this ministry. After working in the country and assessing the situation for two years, Keat and Sally purchased a half-acre of land as the site for the church and their home. By September 1996, using their own assets, they funded and built the church, and a two-story house on the property. The family quarters are upstairs, and the downstairs has four bedrooms and kitchen quarters for visitors and missionaries. The complex has been used to assist other Christian churches in the area.

Keat & Sally continue to train full-time staff to evangelize and disciple new believers. The church has now grown to over 100 members. This church community is active in evangelism, discipleship and neighborhood cell groups, etc, in order to fulfill The Great Commission. Regular worship service is at 7:30 am each Sunday.

Organization Principles
The Cambodian Mission Outreach is a U S non-profit, 501 C-3 Corporation, which was established in 1995 to equip and enable Cambodian nationals to reach other nationals. This corporation is organized exclusively for charitable purposes.

Keat and Sally Kove fund all CMO facility overhead expenses at this time.
Keat and Sally are 100% unpaid volunteers. Christian volunteers who travel to Cambodia will fund their own travel expenses. CMO provides free housing for missionaries who can volunteer at CMO over 3 months.  We have 20 guest rooms for providing temporary housing for International Christian mission teams who help CMO ministry in teaching English.
